Projects:

QMC Lighting work on the full spectrum of lighting projects whether advising on how to attract customers into a space, external signage, external landscape illumination or overall schemes where we project manage & commission the installation. We bespoke design light features & fittings & combine our background in design with our passion for lighting to create a scheme that is in harmony with the overall interior or exterior space. We use control systems to allow for different scene settings to allow for different moods to be controlled by the client so they can have a practical space for cleaning or day time & in the evening create a relaxing intimate space or create a party mood.

We work on all size commissions & offer a consultancy service or full specification & installation service where required.

1. Residential:

QMC Lighting design lighting schemes for residential projects whether a bespoke one off feature light or chandelier to overall full schemes where we specify all the fittings & work through all technical details as well as managing the overall installation. We design the lighting scheme to compliment the overall design scheme & materials used & also link the lighting with the AV systems. We design lighting for specialist areas such as cinema rooms, swimming pools, fish tanks etc.

2. Bar & Nightclub:

We create dramatic lighting solutions for both bars & nightclubs whether feature pendants lights over a bar or creating different zones through the use of lighting. We use specialist lighting to create back lit bars & colour changing dance floors as well as integrating lighting into the seating or creating dramatic signage to attract attention.

3. Office: We design lighting schemes for reception areas creating bespoke light features as well as illuminated reception desks. We have designed board rooms with feature illuminated ceilings as well as integrating lighting into the bespoke furniture & into display cases.

4. Exhibition: QMC Directors have come from a background in Exhibition Design so have worked on many projects illuminating artworks, display cases, specialist manuscript cases, illuminated signage and external building illumination.

5. Spa:

QMC have worked on spa projects using light as chromatherapy as well as illuminating pools & Jacuzzi areas. Reception desks & internal zen garden areas all illuminated using specialist lighting.

6. Landscape:

QMC work on many external spaces bringing the internal light scheme out into the garden whether a penthouse terrace or a large family garden. QMC have lit football astro-turf areas as well as swimming pools and decking areas & integrated lighting to highlight the Architectural planting. We also bespoke design external sculptural pieces combining water & light or as a seating, communal area to bring a focual point to the space especially at night.

7. Bespoke Features: QMC design many bespoke light features as part of our commissions whether one large feature chandelier to highlight an Architectural stairs or feature wall or a series of light art pieces to compliment the Interior scheme whether for a nightclub, office or residential scheme.
